RoadiX is a highway navigation and safety application operated by SuZi Associates, India. RoadiX is designed for drivers, including car, bus, and truck drivers, and provides navigation, road speed-limit information, upcoming checkpoint notifications, safety alerts, and danger-zone alerts.

This Privacy Policy explains what information RoadiX collects, how that information is used, how it is stored and shared, and the choices available to you.

By using RoadiX, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. About RoadiX

RoadiX provides navigation and road-safety assistance using map and location technologies. Depending on the features you use, the application may process your location while an active trip is in progress, display information relevant to the road ahead, and allow you to provide feedback or submit information about checkpoints.

RoadiX is currently offered free of charge. Subscription-based services may be introduced in a future phase.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information reasonably required to operate and improve RoadiX.

2.1 Account and Profile Information

When you create or use a RoadiX account, we may collect:

• Mobile phone number — used for account login and verification.
• Email address — optional; used where provided for account-related communication and verification.
• Name — required; used to personalize your RoadiX profile.
• Profile photo — optional.
• Vehicle information — optional.
• Vehicle type — required to support the RoadiX user experience and relevant navigation/safety features.

2.2 Location Information

RoadiX requires location access for navigation and location-based safety features.

When you start a trip:

• RoadiX uses your device's GPS/location information while the trip is active.
• Location is used on the device to determine the road/highway you are travelling on and to provide relevant road information, checkpoints, speed-limit information, safety alerts, and danger-zone alerts.
• RoadiX does not continuously collect your location when an active trip is not in progress.
• RoadiX does not store your continuous GPS route as a trip history.
• RoadiX stores the trip start point and trip end point as part of the trip record.

Location permissions can be controlled through your device settings. Disabling location access may prevent navigation and location-based features from working correctly.

2.3 Checkpoint Submissions

RoadiX allows users to submit checkpoints that may help improve information available through the application.

When submitting a checkpoint, we may collect:

• Checkpoint category.
• GPS coordinates.
• A photograph captured using the device camera.
• Description/details provided by the user.
• Related feedback or information supplied by the user.

Photos submitted for checkpoints are uploaded to RoadiX's infrastructure for review and moderation.

For the current version of RoadiX, user-submitted checkpoint photos are not displayed to other users. Submitted checkpoints require review and approval by RoadiX's administration/support team before they can be enabled.

2.4 Feedback and Confirmations

You may provide feedback about checkpoints or information displayed by RoadiX. This may include whether a checkpoint was present and whether the suggested service or location was satisfactory.

We use this information to validate and improve the quality of RoadiX data and services.

2.5 Device, Diagnostic, and Technical Information

RoadiX and its service providers may collect standard technical and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the application. Depending on the device and services used, this may include:

• Device type/model.
• Operating system and version.
• Application version.
• Network and connectivity information.
• IP address and similar technical information.
• Crash and performance information.
• Application logs and diagnostic information.
• Device/application identifiers where required by integrated services.

RoadiX uses Firebase Crashlytics and related Firebase services for crash reporting and application stability.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information for purposes including:

Account and Authentication

• Creating and maintaining your RoadiX account.
• Verifying your mobile number and/or email address.
• Securing your account.
• Providing account-related communications.

Navigation and Safety

• Providing start-to-destination navigation.
• Determining the relevant road/highway for an active trip.
• Providing current road speed-limit information.
• Alerting you when relevant speed limits change.
• Alerting you about upcoming checkpoints.
• Providing safety alerts and danger-zone alerts.
• Supporting location-based features while an active trip is in progress.

Checkpoint Management

• Receiving user-submitted checkpoints.
• Reviewing and moderating submitted information.
• Validating checkpoint information.
• Improving the accuracy and usefulness of RoadiX's checkpoint data.

Application Improvement

• Detecting and resolving crashes.
• Monitoring application performance and reliability.
• Diagnosing technical problems.
• Improving application functionality and user experience.

4. Google Maps and Google Places

RoadiX uses Google Maps and Google Places services to provide map, navigation, location, and place-related functionality.

When you use features that rely on these services, relevant information may be processed by Google in accordance with Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

RoadiX does not control Google's independent processing of information. We recommend reviewing Google's privacy documentation for information about how Google handles information through its services.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

RoadiX uses selected third-party technology and service providers to operate the application and its infrastructure. These currently include:

• Google Maps / Google Places — mapping and place-related functionality.
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — application/infrastructure hosting and related cloud services.
• Firebase / Firebase Crashlytics — application services, diagnostics, crash reporting, and performance-related information.
• Jio — services used in connection with application communications/infrastructure as applicable.
• MSG91 — delivery of OTP and/or related communication services.

These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent service providers depending on the service involved. Access is limited to information reasonably necessary for the relevant service.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or permit access to information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

Information may be processed by third-party providers that help us provide authentication, cloud infrastructure, mapping, communications, crash reporting, and other technical services.

Legal and Regulatory Requirements

We may disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.

Security and Protection

We may use or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, property, or safety of RoadiX, our users, or others, or to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant services and meet legitimate operational, security, and legal requirements.

If you delete your RoadiX account, we will initiate deletion of your user-associated data. User data is deleted within 14 days of account deletion, subject to information that may need to be retained where required by applicable law or for legitimate security/legal purposes.

Some technical or aggregated information may be retained where it no longer identifies you or is necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

8. Account and Data Deletion

RoadiX provides an account deletion option within the application:

Settings → Delete Account

When you request account deletion:

1. Your account deletion request is recorded.
2. User-associated data is scheduled for deletion.
3. The applicable user data is deleted within 14 days.

Account deletion may be irreversible. You may lose access to your account, trip records, profile information, submissions, and other user-associated content.

9. Updating Your Information

You can correct or update eligible profile information directly from your RoadiX profile/settings.

For information that cannot be changed directly in the application, you may contact us using the contact details below.

10. Permissions

Depending on the features you use, RoadiX may request permissions such as:

• Location — required for navigation and location-based alerts during active trips.
• Camera — required when capturing a photograph for a checkpoint submission.
• Notifications — used for upcoming checkpoint notifications, safety alerts, danger-zone alerts, and other relevant service notifications.

You can manage permissions through your device settings. Restricting permissions may limit or disable corresponding RoadiX features.

11. Notifications

If you enable notifications, RoadiX may send:

• Upcoming checkpoint notifications.
• Safety alerts.
• Danger-zone alerts.
• Important service/account notifications.

You can control notification permissions through your device settings and, where available, through RoadiX settings.

12. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

However, no internet transmission, cloud service, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children's Privacy

RoadiX is intended for adults and is not intended for minors.

We do not knowingly design or provide the service for children. If you believe that a minor has provided personal information to RoadiX, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

14. Subscription and Payments

RoadiX is currently provided free of charge.

A subscription-based service may be introduced in a future phase. If payment or subscription functionality is introduced, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain the relevant data processing and payment-related services before or when those features become available.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to RoadiX, its features, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices.

When we make material changes, we may update the Last Updated date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the application or other suitable channels.
